WHAT I OFFER
Success in learning the piano depends on finding the right teacher. My teaching style focuses on a thorough technical training but also emphasizes self-exploration and discovering a passion for music.
PIANO LESSONS
Personalised Attention
I specialise in teaching talented, young pianists. Children begin at the age of 4 - 5 years and parental involvement in both lessons and practise is vital.
SUZUKI METHOD
If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance.
I am an accredited Suzuki piano teacher with over 25 years experience.
EXAMINATIONS
Be as prepared as possible.
I enter my pupils for grade examinations as appropriate and use both ABRSM and Trinity College London. I also prepare students for diplomas including LTCL, Dip.ABRSM etc.
THEORY
I offer preparation for Theory grades from 1 - 8 and can help diploma candidates with the written component of their examination.
ACCOMPANYING
I offer a comprehensive range of accompanying services including for grade examinations, diplomas, auditions and recitals.

MY BACKGROUND
I studied originally at Trinity Colllege of Music and subsequently at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have over thirty years exerience as a pianist, chamber music player and piano teacher.
